Itinerary
Day 1 – Zagora > Mhamid the gateway to the desert > Erg Chegaga, Moroccan desert
See you in Zagora. Then departure in 4X4 towards the Moroccan desert of Mhamid through the Draa Valley. One hour camel ride before continuing in 4×4 to the largest sand dune in Morocco Erg Chegaga. Dinner and night at the bivouac at the foot of the Chegaga dunes.
Day 2 – Erg Chegaga the great Moroccan desert > Lac Iriqui > Foum Zguid > Zagora
After breakfast return to Zagora by a new road passing by the dry lake of Iriqui and crossing the village of Foum Zguid. Arrival in Zagora around 1 p.m.
